Core Values
Evangelism
We believe in the mission of the Church as outlined by Jesus which is to "Go into the world and make disciples of every nation, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
Winning souls for Jesus Christ by preaching His gospel is the cornerstone of all that we do. Evangelism is the very essence of our being as a church.
Missions
We believe in the priority of mission as sanctioned by Jesus Christ when he said, "As you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me."
As Christians, but as Methodists in particular, we believe in the centrality and indispensability of missions. To feed the hungry, clothe the naked, welcome the stranger, and visit the sick is the expression of our faith.
Biblical Integration
God's word as revealed through the scriptures is the exclusive source of all doctrine and the very bedrock of our faith. Therefore, we aim to integrate biblical truth into all aspects of our worship, teaching, missional pursuits, and community of fellowship.
Worship
The very purpose of our existence is to bring glory to our creator. We believe that worship rests at the core of every aspect of the Christian life. Therefore, worship does not begin and end on Sunday morning. Rather, worship sustains us as a community of faith in everything we do: missional, evangelical, and communal.
Prayer
Prayer is our sustenance. It is not merely a formality. We believe that through prayer we are able to commune with the living God. Therefore, we recognize the necessity of regular prayer as individuals and as a community of believers.
Community
Nothing brings greater joy to our God than when his people live together in community. Therefore, we cling to the words of the psalmist David when he writes, "How good and pleasant it is when God's people dwell in unity."
We believe that God desires His church to reflect the diversity of His people. Therefore, we strive to make our church a place that welcomes people of all races, nations, & cultures who seek communion with God and their fellow man.
