TMC Garden & Flower Ministry
Missional
Our Garden Ministry is a mission of Trenton Methodist Church created to help feed the hungry by offering healthy, sustainably home-grown vegetables. We grow, we harvest, and we provide. Recently, the garden has been expanded to include fresh-grown flowers used to beautify our church and bring joy to those in our congregation and community that are shut-in or receiving medical treatment.
Intentional
Through the ministry of our Garden, our
church has been blessed by the creation of collaborative partnerships with a number of local organizations, including the Orange Grove Center, the Tri-State Food Pantry, the Dade County School System and the Dade County Senior Center. We are thankful to those who offer an opportunity for our ministry to provide. Together, we seek to minister to those who have need.
Biblical
Most importantly, our Garden is a ministry rooted not only in soil but in God's Word. As a church, we take seriously Jesus' command to feed the hungry and we seek to do so through our garden ministry. Each season, we ask our Lord to bless our Garden Ministry and He does so in abundance. Praise be to our Lord!
